Why the feltmaking group and felting drop in sessions? It is simple, as there is no feltmaking group locally, we have many knitting and crochet but no felting group. The majority of people who joined the group came initially to my workshops, learned some needle felting or wet felting skills and wanted to progress further. Being in the group of similar minded people is a great way to develop feltmaking skills further while laughing and eating cakes together.
We usually have two groups, one creates something using wet felting techniques and another works with needle felting projects. The idea is bring your project or an idea and create together in a brilliant creative environment in the comfort of my feltmaking studio while learning new skills.
I have various tools in the studio, wet felting, needle felting, carder, sewing machine, needle felting pads and many more. The carder is seems the most popular tool, we love mixing various fibre and colours, which then we use for many exiting felting projects.
I am there to create with the group and help, share my feltmaking tips and tricks.
I loved the felting frenzy drop in sessions. it makes me feel so relaxed. I also liked the open studio with the raffle and the cakes!!!
